Lead Magnet Ideas
I have listed several lead magnet examples below, but honestly, unless you make your lead magnet specific enough to actually meet an immediate need of your ideal customer or client, it’s not going to serve its purpose. Some of these, at least from an outsider’s perspective, will seem more valuable than others.
– Guides or Reports
– Cheat Sheet or Handout
– Toolkit or Resource Library
– Video Training
– Email Course
– Content Upgrade
– Coaching Call
– Software Download
– Free Trial or Sample
– Run a Competition or Giveaway
– Locked Site (requires login for access)
– Product Discount or Free Shipping
– Quiz or Survey
– Assessment or Test
Before you choose one, put yourself in your customer’s shoes. What would seem like a must-have, valuable item to you?
For me, I will ALWAYS give my email address for a discount or free shipping.
Then figure out what will address a specific pain point and how you can solve it.
Create a lead magnet that can do these things.
